The Cat B refurbishment of an existing floorplate was completed to elevate the space with a professional feel. Having been modernised several years earlier, business requirements had changed. The client is now adapting to focus on a hosting space and employee experience with the introduction of a new breakout area, designed at the heart of the office. Without changing the floorplate, the overall look and feel has been enhanced alongside improved lighting, furniture, acoustics and storage.
Consisting of two executive offices, a VC suite, an open-plan desk area, and three additional meeting rooms, the reconfigured floorplate now delivers the privacy the team needs while offering a diverse range of work settings for collaboration, client hosting, and socialising. This enhanced flexibility supports productivity and encourages a more dynamic work culture.
The design subtly incorporates the brand’s colours without relying on overt signage, staying true to the company’s identity and approach. Refined materiality, through modern glazing treatments and elevated joinery details, enhances the overall look and feel of the space, complementing the building’s distinctive architectural character and creating a cohesive, contemporary workplace.
